REP Launches New Summer

Program for Youth

Join REP this summer as it launches a unique and innovative experience designed especially for middle school students.  Developed and led by REP’s Artistic Director C. Glen Matthews, the [zu]the phonetic spelling for zoo—offers area youth an introductory series of weekend and week-long immersions into the wonderful world of theatre, running from July 11th through July 25th.

Families interested in the [zu] are invited to attend an OPEN HOUSE and information session on Monday, June 29th from 7-8PM at 213 Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh.

NEWS: REP Rocks!  June 27th at 7:30pm

It's a Battle of the (Virtual) Bands that you'll not soon forget!

Break out the big hair and platform shoes because we have a new experience for you. Three bands - comprised of REP family and friends - will go head to head using ROCK BAND to raise money for REP's Dream.Believe.Do Campaign and earn the inaugural REP Rocks Crown. REP Rocks will be at 213 Fayetteville Street

Admission is FREE. Beer, Wine, Soda, and Popcorn will be served.

Any and all donations are greatly appreciated and will be used to support REP's transistion to its new home at 213 Fayetteville Street.

 

REP is moving to Fayetteville Street!

Raleigh's nationally recognized professional theatre company and the Triangle's oldest producer of powerful, penetrating and provocative theatre experiences is taking Center Stage!

For 27 seasons, REP has entertained, challenged, and inspired area audiences with its unique brand of storytelling, while celebrating the energy and excitement that is Downtown Raleigh. This summer, REP will inhabit 213 Fayetteville Street, becoming a visible resident fully invested in the Downtown Raleigh renaissance.

The acquisition of this permanent downtown home will enable REP to aggressively pursue the following goals:

          * Expand Seasonal Programming and Production Options

          * Grow and evolve REP's Unique Perspective and Distinct Ensemble-Centered Process

          * Launch Innovative Arts and Character Education Opportunities for Young People of All Abilities

          * Offer Gathering and Meeting Space for Community Organizations and Businesses
